A garden, built around a table
GÄRTEN Lake Town is a premium European cafe & restaurant in 5th Settlement, New Cairo — set on a 6,000 sqm lakeside garden.
Where it began
A premium cafe, on the lake
We opened GÄRTEN Lake Town with a simple idea: that a European cafe — generous breakfast, slow afternoons, an open kitchen, a proper coffee bar — would feel right in New Cairo, if we built it on the right piece of land.
That land turned out to be a 6,000 sqm stretch on Lake Town in New Cairo, opposite the Waterway, with the water at the bottom of the garden and the sky wide open above it. We didn't try to fill it. We set the table and let the garden do the work.
